Between last week’s post and this one – I’ve joined a Bookclub, and read my first e-book! Life is good 🙂

What are you currently reading? Having just finished a book last night. I haven’t begun a new one yet. Cant’s seem to make up my mind, but I don’t think it’ll be The Corrections as I had intended last week 😛
What did you recently finish reading? Two great books – Travels With My Aunt by Graham Greene (my first E-book!) and The Pigeon by Patrick Suskind. Reviews here & here.
What do you think you’ll read next? There are a couple of books I’ve found while browsing Amazon, always a dangerous thing 😉 The first is A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki and the second is The Hitman’s Guide to Housecleaning by Icelandic author Hallgrimur Helgason. Both downloaded samples are intriguing and I’m in real danger of falling way back from my List 😛

I enjoyed Suskind’s Perfume, off to read your review of The Pigeon 🙂 – congrats on joining a bookclub – they make you read things you wouldn’t normally, most of the time it is good stuff, (not always though). How did you like your ebook experience? I like it, but I still prefer books. I forget all the stuff I have downloaded to my reader, too easy to ignore!

Thanks 🙂 I enjoyed the first meeting. We read Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, a book I had read when it first came out in 2011 and it was a very stimulating, energetic discussion (read loud and boisterous but friendly ;)). We were all Moms so you can imagine how many opinions we all had! Oh and I prefer books too – absolutely! It’s just that with all the series I read – I thought I would use the reader to save space. But NOTHING beats the feel of a book in hand 🙂
